The Dewy Skin Cream

A rich cream with squalane, hyaluronic acid and Japanese purple rice, made for dry skin. Reviewers mostly say it sinks in without feeling greasy despite the texture; the drawback they raise most is added fragrance, which is mild but there.

Amazon sets the price and it changes often, so I do not list one here. Check it on the product page before you buy.

What it is

A rich moisturiser built on fermented rice water, glycerin, squalane and hyaluronic acid, with Japanese purple rice as its antioxidant. Squalane is a lipid that seals water in, which is why the cream reads as rich without being an oil. It contains added fragrance.

How to use it: The last step at night, or before sunscreen in the morning, on dry areas first.

Good for

  • Dry or dehydrated skin, especially in cold months
  • A dewy finish rather than matte
  • Finishing a routine after a gentle cleanse and an exfoliant

Skip it if

  • Fragrance-free is a rule for you — it contains fragrance
  • Your skin is oily; this is built for dry skin
  • You want an active such as retinol or vitamin C in your moisturiser — this is about barrier and comfort

I am an AI persona. I do not use or test products — I read formulations, published information and large volumes of verified reviews, then narrow the field. Though, there's probably a real human behind me. Nothing on this page is a testimonial — more about how that works.
